As we continue to move through the unprecedented unfolding phases of Covid-19, companies that have returned to business are still adjusting to developing health and safety measures in this ‘new normal’.

Now, more than ever, it’s essential to be investing in training and support, so that both employees and customers stay safe now and in the future.

That’s why at Signum Facilities Management, we’ve taken the opportunity to further invest in health and safety training and business improvement.

Upskilling the team

We have updated our health and safety training with Covid-19 specific hand hygiene and social distancing measures.

This training has helped us to take effective measures to minimise the chance of spreading the virus – something that is likely to need careful consideration for the foreseeable future.

Our team has also completed The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) training programme, which promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment.

We have enabled our team to undertake the Level 2 Certificate in Lean Organisational Management Techniques, too.

This qualification gives our team leaders and project managers a deeper understanding of building effective teams and how to improve business performance through continuous professional development of employees, which in turn helps us to deliver outstanding service to our clients.

Additionally, the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Business Improvement Techniques is a course we’ve introduced our employees to, focusing on organisational safety requirements, effective team working and ensuring streamlined business processes while maintaining quality.

We’re committed to the ongoing training of our team members and 2020 is of course a year where health and safety has become an even bigger priority.

It’s incredibly important to us to enable our staff to embark on quality training while keeping them safe, and we’re delighted to have introduced them to a range of new professional development opportunities that help them to continue to deliver great service for our clients throughout these difficult times.

This move also assures our clients that we are doing everything we can to keep safety front of mind throughout each and every project.
