    John Booth, our Senior Electrical Engineer and Qualified Supervisor (QS), marks an incredible 10 years with Signum FM.

     

    Over the past decade, John has been a cornerstone of our electrical services, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards and that our clients’ buildings remain safe, compliant, and efficient.

     

    His expertise and attention to detail reflect the quality and reliability our customers associate with Signum FM.

    We’re also delighted to recognise Matthew Johnson, our skilled Heating Engineer, who celebrates 5 years with the company.

     

    Matthew’s professionalism and technical ability has made him a valued member of our maintenance team, supporting clients across Doncaster and beyond with heating, plumbing, and commercial boiler services.

    FM Company Strengthens Workforce With New Appointment

    Give a warm welcome to one of the latest additions to the team, Richard Balmforth.

    Richard joins Signum FM as Operations Manager, where his day-to-day responsibilities involve overseeing the coordination of planned, reactive and installation activities across both public and private sectors.

    He takes a strategic, measured approach to achieving compliance and outstanding customer service as well as leading a team of engineers across the contracts covering electrical, mechanical, and fabric.

    Prior to Signum FM, Richard had extensive experience in the armed forces, serving as a former tank commander and scorpion armoured reconnaissance vehicle commander, as well as working his way up from security officer to facilities/contract/operations manager over a 30-year period.

    Outside of work, Richard enjoys training, playing golf, and watching both codes of rugby.

    Fun fact about Richard: He’s met the entire Royal Family, including the late Princess Diana.

    Latest Addition to the Signum FM Team

    Welcome to Signum FM: Katie Hargreaves

    Signum FM has increased its investment in the team as a result of continued growth.

    Our latest arrival, Katie Hargreaves, joins us as our Facilities Co-ordinator.

    With over 10 years experience in the office industry and a passion in facilities management, Katie brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to strengthen the team.

    Her main duties include planning, coordinating, and delivering all operational activities that support the delivery of planned and reactive works.

    Katie’s role will also include administration support for the whole team, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

    Outside of work, she loves attending music concerts and going to brunches with friends.

    Katie strongly believes in the phrase “if it’s meant to be, it will be”.

    Doncaster Facilities Management Company Celebrated Business Success

    We’re building for the future after another successful year of client wins and business growth.

     

    Signum FM has enjoyed a 50% increase in turnover in 2023/24, compared to the previous year and are now looking to expand the team with two more recruits.

     

    Our specialists work with a variety of organisations across the region and beyond including Keepmoat Homes, Beta Technology and FCC Environment

     

    Jill Wood, Signum FM’s Managing Director, said: “We have enjoyed another bumper year of business here at Signum which is credit to our wonderful team who have worked so hard.

     

    “We have developed relationships with some key new clients this year looking after all their facility management needs which has helped see our turnover increase by 50 percent as well as celebrating 100 per cent client retention and renewal of contracts for the 20th consecutive month. This means we will shortly be on the lookout for two new staff members as we expand the team providing an even better service for our clients.

     

    “We are committed to the continued training and development of our staff and invest in them to build their careers with us.

     

    “It’s a really exciting time for us as we grow even more as a business helping to secure our future and also contribute to the overall success of the local economy here in Doncaster.”
