Manufacturing business invests in new staff area with support from Signum FM

Company: A Doncaster-based manufacturer and supplier of specialist chemicals to medium sized oil industry service companies globally.

The brief: To fully refurbish and decorate an old canteen and toilet area with new sinks, cabinets, flooring and water supply to provide a more modern, appealing and user-friendly space for staff.

Project duration: Two weeks

A global chemicals specialist based in Denaby, Doncaster were keen to transform a tired canteen and toilet area into a more modern and fresh space for staff and they turned to Signum FM to get the work done on time and within budget.

The brief was to totally revamp an existing kitchen and toilet area with new kitchen cabinets, pipework and flooring as well as transforming a toilet so it was a clean and fully equipped space.

Jill Wood, Managing Director of Signum FM, said: “A full strip out of the existing kitchen space was required which meant new cabinetry, pipework and flooring. We also supplied and installed the new kitchenette, polysafe flooring and completed all decorating to a high standard.

“In the toilet, we stripped out the existing sanitaryware and flooring and put in a brand new toilet, wash hand basin, hygienic wall cladding, decoration and polysafe flooring.

“This work enhanced the aesthetic appeal of both areas creating more inviting welfare facilities for the clients’ workforce. Our customer was really pleased with the results.
